Why polish chips, and what actually stops it
Colour is the fun part. These two are the reason it is still there on Friday.
Bare nails are smooth and slightly oily. Colour slides on them. A base coat gives it something to hold on to, and stops staining underneath.
Two thin coats beat one thick one every time. Thin coats cure properly, so the finish stays flat instead of lifting at the edges.
Chips almost always start at the free edge of the nail. Sealing over that edge is what keeps the whole manicure intact.
Honestly I cannot believe this nail polish. The colour is SPOT ON for the season and I’ve had it on 8 days, decorated my daughters bedroom, worked, washed my car and it still looks immaculate!

Lovely soft pink colour. Needs 3 coats to get best finish, then looks like glossy salon gel polish. Lasts me almost a week. Really impressed with Nail kind.
